Non-Isolated DC–DC Power Converter With High Gain and Inverting Capability

As the voltage gain of converter increases with same ratio, current also increases, this increase in gains will affect size input and output capacitor. To reduce ripple simultaneous decreasing ripple, a novel fed interleaved high is proposed by utilizing front-end structure Cockcroft Walton (CW)-Voltage Multiplier (VM). The “current fed” term used because, circuitry, all capacitors CW-VM are energized path via inductors structure. can be applied as an boost up stage for low battery energy storage systems, photovoltaic (PV) fuel cell (FC) based DC-AC applications. anticipated topology consists two rating switches. main benefits configuration continuous (ripple free) current, gain, reduced switch rating, reliability, easy control percentage efficiency. converter’s working principle, mathematical steady-state analysis, detailed component design discussed. parasitic components has been considered analysis to show deviation from ideal cases. A comparison other available converters presented. experimental results 300W prototype developed confirm performance functionality DC-DC converter.
